The Flute Books
The Flute Books are created for the young flutists to learn through play, games and beautiful tunes, and have their musical journey enjoyable. This includes learning rhythm through rapping and movement, singing for good tone and intonation, introducing the notes one by one, creative thinking through composing tunes and more.
These books include not only the learning material, but also many games and activities that support the learning process, and it's all right there in one book!
The Flute Books also promote healthy practice routines from the start like paying attention to the importance of proper warm up, gaining a richer understanding of the tune they're about to play, and stretching as regular part of playing music, to name a few.
Warm-ups are introduced with Norman the Snail and Charlie the Rabbit. These characters stay with the child's musical journey through all the Toot & Hoot books.
Games related to music theory follow after each new note or new theory concept is introduced.
Tiny Card Game pages show up through the book to playfully revise the material. As a reward for each Game, there are star certificate pages that can be cut out from the back of each book.
The Toot & Hoot Tiny Concert is a way to encourage students to perform. Therefore, little posters to announce their performance and make it more fun can be found at the back of the book.
The Smart Practice Treasures show up through the book too, with bits of advice on how to practice smart, or as a motivational quotes.
All the illustrations in the books are hand-drawn and they include children characters from different religions and different skin color. They aim to promote diversity and tolerance.
